A tokenized fund price may update on a schedule because it relies on NAV for real assets calculated by an administrator or delivered by an oracle. The token can trade continuously on-chain, while bonds, funds, and cash settlement follow their own valuation hours. Between updates, on-chain pricing may rely on the last published value.
A tokenized fund can move on-chain around the clock while fiat redemption still depends on settlement days, NAV calculation, banks, and the fund administrator.
